Peter Hook and his new band, The Light, will be touring the states just in time for the December 7th US release of Freebass' album
It's A Beautiful Life, the full length from his Manchester supergroup project. The Light will perform the full Joy Division album Unknown Pleasures, along with additional songs from the Joy Division catalog including "Love Will Tear Us Apart" & "Transmission." The tour honors the 30th anniversary of the legendary record's release. While his Freebass band mates, Andy Rourke of The Smiths & Mani Mounfield of The Stone Roses, will not be in tow, Hooky's son Jack Bates will be standing proud alongside Dad and also playing bass guitar.
